Do you shoot full nudes?
That’s a firm no. I’ve photographed booty and boobies, but never full-frontal. There are plenty of other photographers who do shoot full nudes, and I would encourage you to contact them if that is your creative vision.
Do you shoot couples’ boudoir?
The only couples photography I do is for engagements, weddings, or family portraits. Never boudoir. This is another firm no.
Do you shoot “dudeoir” or men’s sensual photos?
No, just women. I designed this business specifically for the needs of women, and all my expertise revolves around making women look and feel beautiful.
Can you do my boudoir portraits on location?
That depends on the location. I have done portrait sessions in a client’s private residence, and when I do, my assistant travels with me. If you want to shoot in a public venue, there might be an additional cost and permits required. There might also be issues of privacy during your session. We can discuss ideas beforehand so you have a clear idea of all the costs and details that might be involved with the location you have in mind.
Do you provide lingerie for me to wear?
No. I have some props (fans, gloves, hats, etc.) but I do not provide wardrobe for your session. And those props are only available in studio, not on location.
Is hair and makeup included?
No. While I recommend you have your hair and makeup professionally done for your session, it is not a service that I provide. You will need to arrive with hair and makeup “camera ready.”
Can I sell my photos, after you give them to me?
No. The digital files and the print releases you will receive are intended for your personal use only. You do not own the license for their commercial use. That copyright remains with the photographer. Inquiries for commercial use and licensing of any Siren Boudoir images should be directed to the photographer’s email.
Can I post the digital images on my personal social media profiles?
Yes, at your discretion. Posting is fine on your personal profiles. You just can’t sell them to a third party or license them for commercial use without obtaining a commercial copyright from Siren Boudoir.
If I need to cancel my session, is my deposit refundable?
No. Deposits are retainers and are non-refundable in the event of client cancellation.
If I need to reschedule my session, can my deposit transfer to the new date?
Yes, you can transfer a retainer once to a new session appointment, but only if the new date is within 90 days of the original session date. After 90 days, the client forfeits the deposit.
